Park Days

This summer has been a treat for us, as well as two other moms and their kids/daycare kids. The Beaverton City park has been our home every Tuesday and Thursday. It has a fantastic playground (nicely shaded), fountains to run through, and lunch is served free of charge to all children under 18 (thanks to Beaverton School District's summer food program.) The kids have a great time, get a great lunch, and I get much needed adult conversation. It's a win-win situation all around.

The Purpose of this Blog

This blog is for my daycare families, to keep them updated on what their children are doing while in my care, to notify them of upcoming events, policy changes, vacation days etc. It will work as an online, ongoing newsletter. We have been having a great summer thus far, spending time outside playing, going to the "water park" and hanging out with friends.
